Timber Vale is a private caravan park on the east side of the Lym valley, about three-quarters of a mile from the sea at Lyme Regis. The Eaton family has run it since 1976 and almost all of the 153 caravans are owned by their occupiers and not let out. Three are available to rent: Roma, Timberline and Pathfinder, all modern two-bedroom vans with central heating, double glazing and a patio with table and chairs. Each sleeps up to four.
Rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Gas, electricity and water are included in the weekly price, but bedding is charged extra and towels are not provided. Roma and Timberline take a dog at no extra charge; Pathfinder is dog-free. The park has a children's play area, a hard tennis court, a laundry room and a dog exercise area. There is no shop, bar, club or pool, and no pitches for tents, tourers or motorhomes.
