Andrewshayes has been run by the same family since the 1930s and sits in rolling countryside above Dalwood, near Axminster, about twenty minutes from Lyme Regis and Seaton. Touring and camping pitches are all in the Rally Field, a sloping field cut into terraces, and every pitch is hardstanding covered with astro-turf, so tents need strong pegs. There are standard pitches, serviced pitches with water and a drain, dedicated motorhome pitches, and two extra-large grass pitches in the Front Field. Every pitch gets a 10 amp hook-up, and staff pitch touring caravans for you.

The park is a proper holiday park: a free heated pool under a retractable cover, a bar that serves pizza and fish and chips at weekends and daily in summer holidays, a games room, toddler soft-play room and a playground. Alongside the pitches it lets static caravans and ten Orchard Retreat lodges, some with hot tubs. Dogs are welcome on leads with a field to exercise them in. Campfires and fire pits are not allowed, barbecues must stay off the grass on a slab, and the free 10 amp supply is for light use only.
