Riverside Lakes is a working smallholding on Slough Lane in Horton, with grass camping and touring pitches spread over about 15 acres. Pitches are grouped in named clusters separated by wild meadow, so you can choose between lake views, woodland shelter or being close to the facilities. Sixteen pitches have electric hook-up. Cars are parked in a car park by the facilities rather than on the pitches, which leaves the paths free for children on bikes.

There are two fishable lakes (Willow, in the touring area, and the larger Kingfisher) and a third, older lake that is being restored. Five furnished bell tents sit on decks around the water, one of them on an island. The farm keeps pigs, chickens, ducks and rabbits that children can help feed, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Fires are allowed in braziers and fire pits, using logs bought on site.
