Wilksworth sits in open Dorset farmland on the edge of Cranborne Chase, a few miles from Wimborne. Touring and camping pitches come in three types: grass up to about 8m, hardstanding up to about 7m, and executive hardstanding up to about 8m with a water tap and waste drain. Every pitch has electric hook-up, and the price covers up to six people, one car and a standard awning. Bring a 25m cable for some of the further pitches.

The park also lets two handmade shepherd huts, self-catering caravans, a two-bedroom lodge and Tudor Rose House, a five-bedroom listed building with its own hot tub. On site there is a country store, a shower block with underfloor heating, a launderette, tennis and pickleball courts, a BMX track, football field, play areas, a dog exercise paddock and a heated outdoor pool in summer. Street food vans visit on summer evenings.
