Merley Court is the quietest of the Shorefield parks: a small woodland site on the edge of Wimborne where the accommodation is mostly two to four bedroom lodges with their own hot tubs, plus one two-bedroom caravan without a tub. There are no touring or camping pitches.
There is no shop, bar or pool on the park, which is the point. Guests can drive about 20 minutes to sister park Oakdene Forest Park for its pools, restaurant and evening shows. The Castleman Trailway cycle and walk route runs alongside, and Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Studland beaches are within reach. Keys are collected through online check-in rather than at reception.
