Farrs Meadow has taken campers since 2014 on a wooded hilltop above the Stour Valley. The pitching field is for tents only, with showers tucked into converted horseboxes, and you may find goats or alpacas grazing between the tents.

If you would rather not bring a tent, there are five large yurts, smaller couple-sized yurts, two gypsy wagons, two shepherd's huts, an old stable and a quirky Dandy tent. Furnished stays come with a made-up double bed, stove, crockery, a table and a fire pit.

The river is a short walk for swimming and there is fishing on nearby private banks. A thatched pub is across the fields. There is no wifi, and phones can be charged beside the cafe area.
