Port Bàn is a remote, family-owned park on the west Knapdale coast, about 100 miles from Glasgow and the last 15 of them on single-track road. The camping field has its own small beach and looks across the Sound of Jura to Islay and Jura. Touring caravans and motorhomes can take beachfront pitches, and tent pitches come with optional electric hook-up, with indoor washing up, fridges, freezers, hot showers and laundry close by.

Two glamping pods stand at the edge of the camping field, and a row of static caravans (two and three bedrooms) can be hired by the week or on short breaks. The park has a games hall, putting green, tennis court, small football pitch and bowling green, a children's play park, bike and kayak hire, and a shop and cafe. It was founded as a Christian family holiday park and still holds Sunday services and Bible studies, which are voluntary and open to everyone. Non-residents and dogs are welcome.

Prices are shown in the online booking system. Static caravan prices cover up to six people (max four adults) with electricity and gas; extra people £14 per person per week. Statics are Saturday to Saturday in July and August; short breaks run Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri.

Groups A, B and C. Two-bedroom vans sleep four, three-bedroom sleep six (max four adults). Kitchen, shower and toilet, TV, central heating and a veranda. Pets in groups B and C only, not A. Bedding provided, linen and towels hireable.
