Glendaruel Caravan & Camping Park

Woodland caravan park on the Cowal Peninsula, on the Loch Lomond & Cowal Way, with hardstanding tourers, camping bothies and holiday-home rentals.

  • Some dogs
  • Glamping

Glendaruel sits in 22 acres of mature woodland in Argyll's Cowal Peninsula, under two hours from Glasgow. The Loch Lomond & Cowal Way passes the gate, which makes it a natural overnight stop for walkers, and it is on the Cowal Circle cycle route too. Red squirrels live in the trees.

Touring has 12 gravel hardstanding pitches with 16-amp electric and three without, mostly for caravans, campervans and motorhomes; only small tents are taken. Two camping bothies and a little lodge sleep four each for a tentless camping trip, and there are two- and three-bedroom caravan holiday homes to rent, some of which take dogs. Open from April to late October. You text for your pitch number instead of booking in at reception.
