The Secret Glen is a small campsite at Rashfield near Benmore, a few miles from Dunoon on the Cowal peninsula. It was set up by campervanners and describes itself as the only site in the Dunoon area with fully serviced pitches: five pitches with electric, fresh water and grey waste at the pitch, plus hardstanding pitches with electric.
Tent pitches are available too, with or without power. Pitches are a flat fee with no charge per person or child, dogs are welcome, and there is a modern shower and toilet block, an outside washing-up sink and wi-fi. Fire pits are not allowed but there is a designated barbecue area. The walks from the doorstep include Benmore Botanic Garden, the Cowal Way and Puck's Glen, which has been closed for storm damage.
