Peninver Sands Holiday Park
Small family-run seafront park on Kintyre with hire caravans and eight touring and tent pitches, 60 metres from the beach.

- Near beach
Peninver Sands is a small, terraced park on the shore of the Kilbrannan Sound, about five miles north of Campbeltown on the east coast of Kintyre. The view runs across to Arran and Ailsa Craig, and a sandy beach is a short walk from the pitches. The family has run it for nearly sixty years and it is a quiet, simple place rather than a resort.
Most of the park is holiday homes, with three types of hire caravan: two-bedroom seafront vans (the wider Type A on seafront or upper terrace, Type B on the seafront) and a one-bedroom Type C in the second row, all let by the week from Saturday with three-night short breaks. At the northern end are eight pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, each with a hook-up. There is a toilet block with free showers, a coin-operated launderette, fresh water, chemical disposal and recycling. Note that a couple of rows of privately owned holiday homes sit between the touring pitches and the beach.
