Rathlin Glamping has the only pods on Rathlin Island, set on the shore at Church Bay a five to ten minute walk from the ferry harbour. The island is six miles off the Antrim coast, reached by a short ferry from Ballycastle that you book yourself. All four pods face the water, and each is insulated, double glazed and pine lined, with its own shower room and toilet, heating, power and USB points, and a mini kitchen with a single hob, microwave, kettle and fridge.

Each pod has a double bed and a pull-out day bed, so up to four can sleep, though the limit is three adults or two adults and two children. Pillows are provided but bed linen is not. Outside there is a shared firepit, traditional stone barbecues, tables and a BBQ hut for bad weather. Pod One has a private hot tub and is the only pod that takes dogs. In summer you can walk to the puffins at the RSPB West Light, and with no streetlights the night skies are very dark.
