Watertop Farm
Small working-farm campsite near Ballycastle with grass tent pitches, serviced touring pitches, crazy golf and a cottage museum fire.
- Dogs welcome
- Campfires
Watertop is a family farm just outside Ballycastle, between the Glens of Antrim and the Causeway Coast. It stopped running as an open farm in 2020, but the campsite carries on with a children's play area, a big slide and a nine-hole crazy golf course.
Pitches sit in three separate areas with lake, river or farm views. Tents go on level grass; touring vans choose between six lake-view grass pitches and seven river-view hardstandings, all with hook-up, awning space and a grey water connection. The toilet block is no more than a few minutes' walk from the furthest pitch.
Evenings tend to end around the fire in the old cottage museum or at a raised fire pit on your own pitch. There are six miles of gravel farm tracks for bikes, and Ballypatrick forest is next door. The site goes quiet at 10pm.
- Crazy golf, big slide and play area
- Fire pits and logs on site
- Cottage museum with an open fire
- Six miles of farm tracks to cycle
- Reduced rate for solo walkers and cyclists
