Nantcellan Barns sits on a hilltop looking down the valley to Clarach Bay, a 20 minute walk from the beach. The coast path starts at Clarach and runs south into Aberystwyth or north to Borth. You pick any free spot in the camping meadow, which takes tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. There are no electric hook-ups.

Facilities are simple and a bit different: timber-framed hot showers with no roof, a refurbished toilet block, a basic outdoor kitchen for washing up and a chemical waste point. There are no bins, so rubbish goes home with you. It is a quiet site with no music or generators. An Orchard Cabin and a furnished bell tent can be booked for a bed.
