The Woodlands is a family-run caravan park beside a 400-acre sheep farm at Devil's Bridge, with views to the Cambrian Mountains. The touring and camping field has grass and level basalt-stone hardstanding pitches, with or without 16-amp electric hook-up, and some with TV aerial points. Your car parks next to the pitch.

The toilet block is centrally heated with free showers and hairdryers, a family room, an accessible room, laundry and an undercover washing-up area, and it has won Loo of the Year awards. On the main green there is a play area, a games room with table tennis, a tearoom serving breakfasts and lunches, and a small shop with groceries and Welsh gifts. Free Wi-Fi covers most of the park.

There are no campfires or firepits, but BBQs are fine. Dogs are welcome on a lead. The village and a pub are a walk away, with forest and river paths straight from the park, and a gypsy pod and a self-catering bungalow are available too.
