A small, quiet field in the hamlet of Monknash on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, with 30 pitches for tents and campervans looking out over the Vale hills and the Bristol Channel. It is adults only (16 and over), so there are no children's games or family noise, and stag and hen parties and big groups are turned away.

Teddy's, the on-site bar and cafe, serves tea and coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evenings, with a fire on cool days. There are no meals, but The Plough and Harrow is a 300-yard stroll. Cwm Nash beach is about 15 minutes on foot through a wooded valley with a waterfall.

Two Scandinavian-style lodges, each with a private hot tub and log burner, sit on the same site and are booked by phone. Caravans are not accepted, and there is no waste disposal point for motorhome toilets.
