Debden House Campsite is run by the London Borough of Newham and sits in the grounds of Debden House on the edge of Epping Forest, close to Loughton. A gated entrance, wristbands for campers and on-site security make it feel contained, and the Central line at Debden or Theydon Bois is a short taxi ride or walk away.

Tents go on grass pitches (most sized for five people) and motorhomes and caravans use field 1, where electric hook-up is available. Fires are allowed in dug-out fire pits using wood bought on site, and barbecues are fine if kept off the grass. There are also day-visit bookings for groups of six or more, and school and youth group camps with tents supplied.

For 2026 the campsite ran at reduced capacity and only at weekends, from Friday 10 July to Sunday 13 September, with fields 1 and 2 for camping and limited amenities. Check the site for 2027 dates.
