Commons Wood is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site backing onto woodland on the edge of Welwyn Garden City. It has 68 touring pitches, 44 of them on hardstanding, and is open all year. The page lists it as open to members only.

The Lee Valley Walk passes the entrance, and Stanborough Park, with its lake, is about two miles away. Hatfield station is the nearest and the Club says trains reach King's Cross in about 30 minutes. There is a Co-op within a mile.
