Home Farm Glamping is a small tented site on a working estate in Elstree, close to the Hertfordshire and London border and reachable by taxi from Stanmore or Edgware tube or Elstree & Borehamwood station. Four yurts (sleeping up to five) and eight bell tents (up to four) stand on decking about ten metres apart in a meadow, each with its own Weber barbecue.
Everything is supplied, including beds, bedding, crockery and charcoal, so you only bring food, towels and warm clothes. There is no electricity or heating in the tents. Six private shower rooms and an accessible unit sit a short walk away, with a shared barn kitchen, fridges and charging points. You park in the car park 50m off. Tents have no fire pits; one communal fire pit is shared. The season runs May to September.
