Henlow Bridge Lakes is a working fishing venue with a campsite wrapped around it, a few minutes from the A1(M) between Henlow and Arlesey station. Camping is split between 80 hardstanding pitches that stay open all year and 100 grass pitches that run March to September, with water points nearby and 10 amp electric as an option. Grass pitches take tents, caravans and RVs up to 11 metres, and there is a play area looking out over the lakes.

Everyone uses the same heated amenity block, which has underfloor heating, showers, toilets, a laundry room, baby changing and a disabled wet room. If you would rather not pitch, there are wooden camping pods on Holly Field, plus lodges and cabins that each sleep four and come with a private patio and firepit. Lodge and cabin stays include free fishing on all the lakes if you bring your own gear. A handful of pods, lodges and cabins take dogs. It is run as a family site, so groups under 25 and hen or stag parties are turned away, and generators are banned.

Prices

The basic pitch price covers one unit, one vehicle, two adults and up to four children under 16. Extras and visitors are charged at published rates. Overnight visitors not leaving before 22:30 pay 7 pounds per adult and 4 pounds per child next day.
