Cambridge Cherry Hinton is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site of 56 pitches, 48 of them hardstanding, set in former quarry workings inside an SSSI. It is open all year and non-members can book. The landscaping makes it feel more rural than its position suggests.
Cambridge city centre is about 25 minutes by bus, and cycle paths run from the site into the city. Bikes can be hired on site through an app. Opposite the entrance is a nature reserve with walks around the old chalk pits, and the nearest pub is a short stroll away.
