Karma Farm is an ecologically run farm on Isleham Fen near Ely, with a small campsite in the meadows beside the River Lark. Numbers are deliberately kept low, so pitches are well spaced, and every camping group gets its own lockable toilet and washbasin. Toilets are composting, power is solar, and most of what you see is built from reclaimed farm timber. Showers are shared and hot, and there are fridges, a freezer, dishwashing and phone charging for everyone.
You can bring your own tent or campervan, or stay in one of four yurts (including a large one in a separate private field) or four canvas bell tents. Campfires are encouraged on provided fire stands with wood cut on the farm. There is no recorded music. The river is about 100 metres away for canoeing or fishing, there are walks across the farm and fen, and Wicken Fen, Ely and Cambridge are a short drive away.
