This is the Camping and Caravanning Club's site in the grounds of Culzean Castle on the South Ayrshire coast, looking out over the Firth of Clyde. Beaches and coastal walking are close by, and sunsets over the water are the draw.
Pitches are grass and hardstanding, with and without electric, for tents, caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and rooftop tents. Some pitches slope, so bring levelling devices and chocks, and hardstandings need steel awning pegs. Mobile and TV reception can be poor on some networks. There is a shop, play area, designated dog walk and Club Wi-Fi.
