Crossways is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site spread through about 35 acres of woodland, with pitches in open groves linked by a winding road. It has 99 touring pitches and 4 for tents, and non-members can book. It is open from late March to early November.
A pub is next door, Moreton station is about a 7-minute walk with trains to Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth, and there is a Co-op about half a mile away. The site has eco-friendly toilets, with showers in separate blocks.
The Club asks you to use its own directions for the final approach because of restricted private access roads, and to take care at the level crossing.
