Eweleaze Farm is a tents-only summer campsite on the clifftops above Osmington, east of Weymouth, with its own private beach. The camping is spread over several fields, mostly with sea views. Nobody allocates pitches: you choose a spot when you arrive and can usually park beside your tent, except in the no-vehicle Beach and Point fields.
It opens for six weeks only (20 July to 31 August in 2026) and charges per person, per dog and per vehicle rather than per pitch, so extra tents and gazebos cost nothing. There is no electric hook-up, caravans and motorhomes are not allowed, though small VW-sized campervans are, and amplified music is banned.
For a site with no hook-ups it is well provided for: a farm shop and bakery, a charcoal grill, pizza, crepes and coffee stalls, a sit-down evening restaurant, an ice pack exchange, hot showers and washing-up sinks in most fields, and a sauna and Turkish bath that adults can use free. Children get an animal paddock, craft mornings, a hay bale play barn and storytelling in the tipi. You can also hire furnished 4- or 6-person bell tents, or bring your own.
- Private beach below the farm
- Sea views from most fields
- No pitch fee: pay per person, dog and vehicle
- Farm shop, bakery, pizza, grill and restaurant on site
- Free sauna and Turkish bath for adults
