Wareham Forest Tourist Park is run by Tony and Sarah Birch on 55 acres within the 14 square miles of Wareham Forest, north of Wareham. It is open all year, though the East Field is generally only open from May to September and the serviced Superior pitches close from 31 October to 1 March. Most pitches are touring pitches with electric hook-up: hardstanding or grass standard pitches in the South and East fields, and Superior hardstandings with their own water tap, drain, TV point and electric.

Tents are welcome on the standard grass pitches and on electric-free woodland pitches among the trees in the Glade or the Firs, or in open corners of the South and East fields. There are two toilet blocks with free adjustable showers, laundries and washing-up areas, a family room with table tennis, an adventure playground, a licensed shop and a free outdoor heated pool from late May to early September. Dogs can walk straight into the forest and there is a warm dog wash by the South block. Groups are not accepted.
