Chain Bridge is a small, quiet caravan and motorhome site beside the River Tweed at Horncliffe, on the English side of the border a few miles west of Berwick-upon-Tweed. There are 16 large level hardstanding pitches, each with its own electric hook-up and water tap. The site is for adults only, takes caravans and motorhomes rather than tents, and has no grey waste point at the pitches, though motorhomes have a disposal point.

The facilities block has under-floor-heated showers, a coin-operated laundry, a drying room, a dish-washing area and a freezer and microwave for guests, plus a common room, TV room and book exchange. A riverside path runs from the site towards Paxton House, there is trout fishing on the Tweed, and the Northumberland coast, Holy Island and Bamburgh are about half an hour away. Booking is by phone or email, and card payments are not taken on the gate.
