Shepherd's Rest is a small eco-minded farm campsite at Foulden, just over the Scottish side of the border near Berwick-upon-Tweed. Pitches are on large grass fields with open farmland views, some with electric hook-up, and there is a separate area for five campervans and roof tents. Beaches at Coldingham Bay and Eyemouth are about 15 minutes away.

Besides your own tent you can book a pre-pitched Dutch canvas ready tent (sleeps four, with stove, cool box, crockery and lantern) or one of three shepherd's huts, Willow, Birch and Rowan, each with a kitchen area and bedding and towels included. Willow has a log burner and can sleep two children as well.

Shared buildings include mains showers and flushing toilets, a camp kitchen, a lounge, phone-charging lockers, an honesty shop, a freezer for ice blocks and secure bike storage with e-bike charging. The site is open April to September and does not accept pets, caravans or trailer tents.

The farm sits on National Cycle Route 1 and has a dark skies designation. Fire pits can be hired, and logs are on sale.
