Middleton Gatehouse is a small adults-only touring site for Camping and Caravanning Club members, a mile off the A1 near Belford. Pitches are grass with electric hook-up and fresh water, and the views take in the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne.

There are no toilets or showers, so it suits self-contained vans. Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick and Berwick are all within easy reach, and a bus stops outside.
