Black Bull sits on Malton Road at the edge of Pickering, with a pub and restaurant at the entrance and a bus stop outside for the Coastliner to Scarborough, Whitby and York. The touring field is level, with hedged hardstanding pitches that all have 16-amp hook-up. Standard pitches share water taps, while the serviced and XL serviced pitches add their own water, a grey waste point and a TV point. This is a site for caravans, motorhomes and campervans: tents, pup tents, gazebos and fire pits are not accepted.
The park also has holiday homes to hire and for sale. For touring guests, two heated washrooms sit at either end of the field, with free hot showers, a family and accessible room in reception, a 24-hour laundrette and washing-up area, and a motorhome service point. There is a small shop for gas and barbecue essentials, a games room, a nine-hole crazy golf course, a playground, a sports field and a dog walk. Dogs are free, up to two per booking.
