Wombleton Caravan Park

Quiet 5-star touring park on a 25-acre site between the North York Moors and the coast, with tent, caravan and motorhome pitches.

  • Dogs welcome

Wombleton is a family-run park in Ryedale, between the North York Moors and the east coast, with Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside both a short drive away. The village has a pub and the park is set around 25 acres with grass and gravel pitches.

There are about 118 caravan pitches, 6 hardstanding motorhome pitches and 17 tent pitches, all with the option of electric. The shower and toilet block is close to every pitch, with a family and accessible room, washing-up room and laundry. Reception sells groceries, gas and caravan supplies, and there is a lending library. It is a quiet park: no cycling or ball games, no play area, and no commercial-style panel vans. Two ground-floor holiday cottages and a coarse fishing lake, Maple Lake, are also on site.
