West Ayton is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site of 163 touring pitches, 150 of them on hardstanding, laid out over several levels among trees and planting. Non-members can book.
On site there is a games room with pool tables and table tennis, a playground and a dog walk. The village and its pubs are within a mile, and the Forge Valley walk past the remains of East Ayton Castle starts nearby. Scarborough is a short drive, with a park and ride.
Approach from Cockrah Road, not Yedmandale Road, which is unsuitable for large vehicles. Open late March to early November.
