See all 11 photos- No dogs
Ashurst is the New Forest campsite for people who want proper facilities: toilet and shower blocks, a launderette, washing-up sinks and drinking water, plus grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Some pitches sit under old oaks, others are flat open grass.
Ashurst New Forest station is about five minutes' walk away, with direct trains to Southampton and Bournemouth, and a bus stop is within sight of reception. The pub is a short stroll. Dogs are not allowed here because of ground-nesting birds. Fires are banned, and barbecues must be raised and out by 9pm.
