Setthorns Campsite
Open-all-year Forestry England site in the trees near Brockenhurst and Sway, with electric and hardstanding pitches but no toilets or showers.
See all 11 photos- Dogs welcome
Setthorns is a quiet, tree-screened site close to the old Lymington to Brockenhurst railway line, which is now a path and a good start for walks and bike rides. Ponies, deer and other wildlife are regulars.
There are no toilet or shower blocks, so you must bring a chemical toilet (not a compostable one). The site does have drinking water taps, a chemical disposal point, electric hook-up pitches, hardstanding and XL pitches. Dogs are welcome on leads and, unlike most of the group, it stays open through the winter.
- Open all year
- Electric and hardstanding pitches
- Old railway line path on the doorstep
