Muddycreek is a pony-breeding farm on the edge of Milford-on-Sea that opens a 15-acre field to campers for a few weeks each summer. There are no marked pitches: you choose a spot, with up to 60 pitches' worth of space. It takes tents and small VW-style campervans only, with no caravans or motorhomes.
Toilets, unlimited hot showers, hot washing-up water and a free freezer-block exchange are on site, and there is a playground opposite. Food is by van: pizza on Fridays, breakfast at weekends, plus a small bar a few evenings a week. Small campfires are allowed with wood bought from the office, and dogs stay free.
The site only runs for 28 days a year, mostly late July to August, and is aimed at families and couples rather than groups.
