Tudor Caravan Park sits at Shepherds Patch in Slimbridge, hard by the Gloucester-Sharpness canal with the Cotswold edge as a backdrop. The main Meadow has hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up for caravans, motorhomes and RVs, and there are two large fields for tents: one with 16A electric and one where you pitch where you like without power.

The Old Orchard is a separate adults-only area of hardstandings among old apple and plum trees. The Tudor Arms pub is next door, the Black Shed cafe opposite hires bikes and canoes, and the canal towpath and Cycle Route 41 start at the gate.

WWT Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is a short walk away, which makes winter a good time to come for the overwintering birds. Dogs are welcome on a lead; there is no dog-walking field on site, so you use the towpath.
