Tom's Field is a family-run summer campsite on the forest edge just outside Godshill, about three miles from Fordingbridge. Ponies, donkeys and cattle wander freely in the village, and footpaths and cycle routes start close to the gate. The main field has just over 40 large pitches around its edge, with room for families and small groups.

It is deliberately quiet: no amplified music at any time and no noise after 11.30pm, and large groups are turned away. There is a permanent toilet and shower block with extra flush toilets and single-cubicle showers, two washing-up stations with hot water, and drinking water taps around the field. Reception does free ice-pack freezing and phone charging, and there are coffee and pizza vans at weekends.

Dogs are not charged for. Fire pits can be hired and delivered to your pitch, and wood, charcoal and kindling are sold at reception. Six bell tents with a proper bed, gas cooker and fire pit are available if you would rather not bring a tent. The Fighting Cocks pub is a 15-minute walk away.
