  • Dogs welcome

Summerlands is a small, quiet touring park on a south-facing hillside on the edge of Coombe Bissett, in the Cranborne Chase National Landscape. It began life as a five-van certificated site and now has 20 caravan and motorhome pitches plus 6 for tents, all on level grass with 16 amp electric hook-up. The views stretch across the downs towards the New Forest, and the area is an International Dark Sky Reserve.

The toilet block has separate men's and women's rooms with a shower in each, free hot water, and an indoor utility room for dishes and laundry. There is a motorhome dump point, a chemical disposal point and ice blocks to freeze. The village has a post office shop, a pub and a playground, and bridleways run straight from the site. A separate five-acre field takes caravan club rallies of up to 30 units.
