This is a compact family-run site on the edge of Berwick St James, about 3.5 miles from Stonehenge and an easy walk from the new visitor centre route. Pitches are split between a meadow field looking over Winterbourne Stoke church, a campfire field where you can hire a fire area, and three grades of gravel hardstanding (bronze, silver and gold) for vans and caravans, with the gold pitches having water and drainage on the pitch.

For something less canvas-based there are glamping pods, a bell tent, a gypsy wagon, a shepherd's hut and a yurt with a log burner, each in its own small garden with a fire pit or BBQ. There is a heated shower block, a washing-up area and a small shop. Two pubs, in Berwick St James and Winterbourne Stoke, are a 15 to 20 minute walk away, and a bus runs between Salisbury and Devizes past the gate Monday to Saturday.

Prices are shown in the online booking system and are based on 2 adults per pitch; extra adults and children (under 14s) are charged extra. Electric hook-up is included in pitch prices.

Deposit: 50% to secure the booking, balance 28 days before arrival; bookings within 28 days are paid in full. Glamping security bond of £50 (pod) or £100 (yurt or bell tent), paid in cash on arrival.
