This is the Camping and Caravanning Club's site on the bank of the Avon and Kennet Canal at Seend, a few miles from Devizes in Wiltshire. It is a secluded spot for gentle country and towpath walks, with Devizes castle and Stonehenge within day-trip range.
Pitches are grass and hardstanding, with and without electric, plus jumbo grass pitches and super service hardstandings. Rock pegs are needed on the hardstandings. The entrance road is narrow and short with no waiting area, so the Club asks that you do not arrive before 1pm. There is a shop, designated dog walk, family shower room and Club Wi-Fi, and a pub is within a mile.
