Plough Lane is a touring-only site on the edge of Kington Langley, a short drive from Chippenham and about 25 minutes from Bath. The 52 pitches are split into bays by shrub beds, each half hardstanding and half grass, and every one has an electric hook-up. Some pitches are serviced with water and a waste outlet, and a handful are long enough for rigs over 8m, so say so when booking.
Only over-18s stay, visitors included. The shower block is heated with free hot water, there is a separate accessible room, a laundry, covered washing-up sinks and a small library and information area. Dogs (up to two per unit) are included in the pitch price and have their own exercise field. There is a bus stop outside, and a pub, cafe, village shop and supermarkets within about a mile. Pre-booking is essential.
