The Thames Head Inn is a pub on the A433 between Cirencester (about three miles) and Tetbury, said to be named after the spot where the Thames rises. Behind it is a small campsite of twelve hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, each with electric hook-up and a TV aerial connection.
Guests have access to toilet facilities and free wifi from the pub, which serves food every day from 11am. Dogs and children are welcome. The whole campsite can be hired exclusively, and the pub pitches itself at event visitors for Fairford air show, Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials. Bookings go through Pitchup.
