Snowdonia Parc sits on the banks of the River Gwyrfai in Waunfawr, between Caernarfon and Beddgelert. The campsite takes tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, with 6 amp electric hook-ups for those who want them. The toilet block has free hot showers and washbasins and there is chemical toilet disposal.
The brewpub next door serves home-cooked food and has outdoor seating, and the wifi is in the pub rather than on the pitches. The Welsh Highland Railway's Waunfawr station is right beside the site, and the foot of Snowdon is about four miles away. Beaches are around five miles off.
Three glamping pods sleep two each, with a double bed, en-suite shower and toilet, a kitchenette with microwave, kettle and mini fridge, a TV and underfloor heating. Bring your own duvet, pillows and towels. One dog is allowed per pod.
