Sallochy is a small tents-only campsite among old oak woodland on the eastern side of Loch Lomond, nine miles along the Rowardennan road from Drymen. It has a small shingle beach and views across the loch to the Arrochar Alps, and the West Highland Way runs nearby. The Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority handles the booking.

Facilities are deliberately basic: drinking water, shared washing-up facilities and composting toilets, with no showers and no space for motorhomes or campervans. Some pitches come with fire bowls and firewood can be pre-booked, though lighting a fire is only allowed in a bowl. Dogs are welcome, up to two per pitch. Each booking covers one tent for up to three nights, parking is one allocated space, and there are plenty of midges in summer. The Park's pages describe the campsite as closed or temporarily closed when last checked, so confirm before travelling.
