Big lochside site on the quiet east shore of Loch Lomond, on the West Highland Way, with a boat slipway, play area and hardstanding pitches. Dogs welcome.

Cashel sits on the east shore of Loch Lomond about three miles past Balmaha, close to Rowardennan, with views across the water towards Luss. The West Highland Way runs past the entrance, so the pitches regularly fill with walkers as well as families, and Ben Lomond is the big day out nearby.

It takes tents, tourers, motorhomes and campervans on grass, plus a premium hardstanding pitch with electric hook-up. There are toilets, showers, laundry, dishwashing, a chemical disposal point, a play area and accessible facilities, and seasonal pitches. Boats can be stored, launched and recovered from the site (jet skis are not allowed). It is in the National Park, so fires and barbecues are not allowed. The approach road from Balmaha is rough, with a sharp, steep corner just after the harbour.
