Pooh Cottage is a compact eight-acre park on the edge of Woodbury Common, about a mile from Budleigh Salterton and its pebble beach. Touring pitches are split between Pooh's Field, with hardstanding pitches that each have water, grey waste and 16 amp electric, and Eeyore's Paddock, a small grass field with six level pitches and electric. There is also a small non-electric area for hikers and cyclists, handy because National Cycle Route 2 runs alongside the park.
The shower block is newer than most, with a family room that has a baby bath, an accessible shower room, a laundry with coin-operated machines and a washing-up area. Wi-Fi is free and there is an EV charge point. Dogs are welcome on leads, but open fires are not allowed and barbecues must be raised off the grass. Catering vans visit in season, and the Dog and Donkey pub is a short walk away. Two static holiday homes, Winnie and Kanga, are let by the week alongside the touring fields, and the park also has seasonal pitches and caravan sales.
