Phillistone Farm is a tiny touring site on the quiet north side of the Gower Peninsula, about a mile west of Llanmadoc. There are just five pitches, so you only have four neighbours. The pitches face west across Broughton Bay, which is a five-minute walk away, with Llanmadoc Hill rising behind.

Every pitch has an electric hook-up and there is a water supply and a septic tank for waste. There are no toilets or showers, so this suits self-contained motorhomes and caravans. The farm and the neighbouring common are grazed by sheep, ponies and cattle, so dogs are welcome but need to stay under close control.

You book by phone or email, and the owners ask roughly when you will arrive so someone can open the gate to the secure compound. The road in is single track in places.
