Panpwnton has taken campers since 1963 on a working sheep farm on the edge of Knighton, right on the Offa's Dyke Path. Walkers and cyclists use it as a base for the Dyke, Glyndwr's Way and the Heart of Wales line, whose station is half a mile away; the town centre is about ten minutes on foot. The River Teme runs through the farm.

All pitches are non-electric grass, usable by tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans, with spare overflow fields when it is busy. A refurbished toilet and shower block is open 24 hours, and there is a shared kitchen with fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave, plus an on-site cafe. Campfires and raised fires are allowed with logs for sale. You can also stay in two canvas bell tents or a backpackers' barn room, hire e-bikes, or book a fenced one-acre dog park by the hour.

Pitches are charged per person per night. Children aged 2-16 pay £6, under-twos are free. Bank holidays and selected August weekends add £2 per adult. No need to pay for a car or campervan you are sleeping in. E-bike hire £40 a day.
