The campsite sits at the back of the Powis Arms, the village pub in Lydbury North, right by the front gates of Walcot Hall in south Shropshire. It has twelve touring pitches, each with an electric hook-up, and four extra pitches lettered A to D for tents.
The heated amenity block has showers, toilets, a washing-up area and a chemical disposal point. The village shop is a short walk away and Bishop's Castle, a few miles off, has the bigger shops and a petrol station. On long weekends and in high summer an extra tent field is sometimes opened, so it is worth ringing if the online diary shows full.
