Hamperley is a spacious grass field on a working farm in the Shropshire Hills National Landscape, below the Long Mynd. It is deliberately simple: no electric hook-ups and no hardstanding, so it suits tents, small camper vans and anyone who wants quiet and dark skies.

A newly built wooden block has toilets, washbasins, two coin-operated showers and a sink with hot water, and there is a chemical disposal point and drinking water from a borehole. Walkers and cyclists can head straight out on the Long Mynd paths, and there is an amenity wood next door for dogs.

The farm appeared as Ingles Farm in Malcolm Saville's Lone Pine children's books.
