A basic Caravan and Motorhome Club site at Sneaton, on the moors above Whitby. Some pitches are open with moorland views to the west; others are more sheltered by trees. Non-members can book.
There is electric hook-up, a motorhome service point and Wi-Fi, but the site has no toilet block, so it suits self-contained vans. Footpaths can be joined from the site, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Whitby, about 5 miles away, are close.
Reception sells Ordnance Survey maps and walk guides. The nearest shop is a Spar at Sleights, 3 miles off.
